I have shared my professional life between 2 passions. As a mosaic artist working from my home studio in Oyster Cove, Tasmania, and until recently, music as an orchestral and chamber music violinist.

My mosaics are created using traditional European techniques learned from renowned Italian teachers, notably master artist Verdiano Marzi.

My materials are primarily marble, stone, and Italian smalti.

I have exhibited widely in Australia, as well as Europe and USA, and have been awarded a number of exhibition prizes, public art commissions, and study grants (Please read my CV below for more details).

My work has recently been featured in profile articles in the Internationally distributed 'Crafts Arts International' and the French 'Mosaique Magazine'.

I am a member of the Associazione Internazionale Mosaisti Contemporanei, the Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand, and the National Association for the Visual Arts.

Underpinning my artistic life is the wish, through my work, to contribute to the recognition of mosaics as a forceful and innovative medium in the mainstream art world.
